A Beautiful Autumnal Wedding
I met Roxanne & Marcus for the first time when I took their engagement photos in Lions Park last spring. Here is the link to that blog post...
Roxanne & Marcus' Engagement Photos
Fall is by far my favorite season, and I was so excited for the rich, warm style and colors that Roxanne and Marcus had planned for their special day. But much to my dismay, I woke up the morning of their wedding to a very chilly, very foggy, dare I say, wintery morning and I was worried. Luckily Mother Nature did not disappoint, and by ceremony time, it was a beautiful autumnal day.
Here are some of my favorites so far;
The groom to be...
The gents...
Marcus looking at his beautiful bride...
Roxanne looking so stunning...
The sand ceremony...
I am really loving the ring shots lately...
Roxanne and Marcus,
I really want to thank you both for having Skip and myself be a part of your wedding day. It was emotional, and heartfelt and beautiful, thank you.
Oh, and part two coming soon...

Nicole & Darren
Here is a link to the early sneak peek that I posted for Nicole & Darren and a scary horse story... p.s. check out the ring!
Early Sneak Peek
So, let me start off by saying that I have met my fair share of organized people, and I consider myself to be among the ones who are pretty well organized. Nicole and Darren have shown me that there is a whole other level of organization that I have NEVER encountered before. I am SO impressed! I got an e-mail from Nicole several weeks ago wanting to book wedding photos for the middle of October - well, I thought that they meant this year and was thinking that it was pretty last minute. Turns out, they are getting married next October and already have everyone booked! Deposits paid, decorations decided and bought, every detail is worked out, the whole thing is planned and I can't wait! It is going to be absolutely stunning.
I know Nicole's attention to detail is impressive because I mentioned only once that I have a particular liking for the Chai Latte at Starbucks, and I have been greeted by them with happy smiles and a warm latte on more than one occasion! I couldn't ask for better clients! How do I get so lucky? I LOVE IT!
I know that Nicole is excited to see these, so without further ado, here are some of my favorite pics. from our evening out! It was cold and I was glad to be able to wear a warm sweater.
Yummy sunset light...
I thought this one was so cute...
This is one of my favs...
Another fav, look at the eyes!
Nicole & Darren,
I still have a bit of editing to do, but I will let you know the second I am done with the rest of your photos.

You'll have to wait until after Christmas...
So, I had a FANTASTIC time taking photos of Kim, Jerod and their sweet pup Meeka a few weeks ago. They were SO MUCH FUN! I love people who are up for anything, and they were. There are a lot of capital letters in this so far, I feel strongly about it ;) ... Anyway, they have asked that I do not post a preview until after Christmas, at which time it will really be a post-view, but anyway, I thought that it would be safe to just post one of Meeka because I really like her...
Here she is... she's so cute!
Kim & Jerod,
Hope you are having a great weekend and talk to you soon!

The Sweetest little man...
I have been friends with this little guys mom for a several years now, and I was SO excited when I found out she was pregnant, and was anxiously awaiting his arrival!
I had the pleasure of meeting him a few weeks ago - he was SO good! Mom said that he isn't always so happy, but he was wonderful while I was there.
Here he is cuddling up with mom...
And one sleeping in dad's arms, I love the way he is kicking up...
Dad wanted a pic with them happily comparing hand sizes, this is what we got instead...
Mom, Dad and babe...
And finally in his Santa suit - THE CUTEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN!
Sarah,
I am just about done all of the editing, so I will give you a call in the next few days... :)

Nicole and Darren (The Horses & The Ring)
I will be seeing Nicole and Darren at a wedding tomorrow (not their own), and I wanted to just post 1 quick shot from their session last night. Let me start by saying that I am NOT a jewelry/ring kind of girl, but this ring makes me drool a little (actually quite a bit)... More to come from their session in the next few weeks.
Oh, and just because I can't resist - these are the horses that literally CHASED us. They were after the plastic pumpkins that we were using, I am sure that they thought they were tasty treats, but they were acting kinda weird and creepy (the horses, not the pumpkins). Unfortunately, I am pretty sure Nicole will have nightmares of horses chasing her for quite a while. I might too, they WERE creepy!
Anyway, see you both tomorrow!

Christmas Cards
I have ordered some really cute templates for Christmas this year. I thought that I would post a few to show you all what they look like. They are not all in this photo, just some of my favorites - these are all horizontal, but there are some vertical ones too... I have all of the designs printed up in a binder, so when you are having your photos taken, let me know that you are interested, and I'll bring the binder so that you can see the whole selection. Right now, I can order these as 5x7 prints that you can slide into your yearly Christmas card/letter. I am looking for somewhere that can print them as actual cards as well, but I am having a hard time finding somewhere that is good quality, relatively inexpensive, and also in Canada - or in the U.S. that has quick shipping. If you know of anywhere let me know... otherwise, enjoy!
Happy early Thanksgiving!

What you can expect from a full day of wedding coverage...
I have been meaning to write a post about this for quite some time now, so I decided to stop putting it off, waiting for some extra time, I don't think it's going to come. I am posting my latest wedding beginning to end on the website so that you can get a feel for what you will get from a whole day of wedding coverage. You will notice that this particular wedding only has wedding party photos, not really any family or reception pics - but that is because that part of their wedding isn't until November.
Here is the link to my web page - when you get there click on galleries and then feature wedding. Oh, and there is music in this gallery, so if you are checking this out from work, you might want to turn off the speakers... :)
FEATURE WEDDING GALLERY
Also, while you are checking these out, you will notice that there are LOTS of pictures - I just wanted to mention quickly that on this particular day we were not rushed for time. Obviously the more time that you leave for photos, the better...

Happy Birthday!
Last weekend I finally got to meet Trina and her family. It was her mom's birthday and most of the family was able to come to town for the celebration. The ladies came straight from the Stone Orchid Spa and gave it rave reviews. Oh, and the birthday girl, her husband and all of the grand kids arrived IN STYLE, in a Rolls Royce Limo - it was gorgeous! Anyway, here is a sneak peek...
This one is MY FAVORITE - grandma May (hopefully I have spelled that properly...), we decided that the best light was at the bottom of the hill, so rather than look for somewhere less desirable, she asked the men just to carry her down. I think she said "like the old days"...?!?! Her old days must have been much more fun than mine... :)
The kids playing on the elephant after we finished with the pictures...
The birthday girl and her hubby...
And here is the whole group...
Hope you all had a great supper and a really happy birthday!
