I was so glad to finally meet Roxanne and Marcus after many e-mails back and forth. They are going to have a beautiful autumn wedding and we thought that we'd get together and take a few engagement shots in the nice summer heat, (and by heat I mean bugs) beforehand.

The McDougall's

These are my cousins...I borrowed them for one afternoon so that we could take some photos. Originally it was maybe going to be for Mother's Day, but scheduling wouldn't permit it.

I really like this one, Brennan rarely smiles naturally for pictures and I think he was here... Yeah!


I was such a dummy this day, as soon as I got my camera, I shut the car door with my keys inside... I have NEVER done that before... ugh! (I guess that's what I type for my annoyed at myself noise, though in reality it's more of a sigh)




Aren't they all so good looking? I think so...

Anyway, thanks for being patient with me and all of my weird ideas you three!

Just thought that i'd post a quick hello! to everyone.

My big announcement of the day is... I just picked up my brand new camera this morning! YEAH! It's a Canon 40D and I am charging the battery and waiting for the rain to stop and i'll be out taking some photos with it. SO EXCITING!

One Hot Mama...

I love taking maternity photos!

These next photos are of friends of mine Sarah & Mike, I went to high school with them, and they have been together since then, I am not going to say how long ago that was... I am so excited that I got a chance to do some photos of them, this was my first maternity shoot, and can I just say, I had a fantastic time. I am SO pleased with how they turned out! This is a preview of a few of my favorites, more to come in the next few days - I have so many I want to show, I am really having a hard time choosing what to post first.


Mike especially enjoyed the kissing part...
